The Homeless Outreach Program, serving as a portal to other social support services, offers counseling, immediate assistance to address a crisis, and referrals and support to address long term issues and challenges such as unemployment, physical and mental health issues, and addictions. The Outreach Program staff offer assistance, counseling, and referrals five days a week, during business hours. Volunteers are involved in special Outreach events, such as during the holidays. The Outreach Program provides emergency assistance to individuals and families to prevent homelessness. Over 90% of the funds are used for rental assistance, security deposits and utility assistance.
